I consult with and conduct outreach on behalf of government entities, utilities, and foundations to forward client messages to the public on sustainability topics that incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previously, I worked as an Associate for Environmental and Energy Consulting with a portfolio that focused on conservation policy. Additionally, I served as a Legislative Aide in the office of Assemblymember Cristina Garcia before switching to advocacy and consulting. I began with the Assemblymember as a California Science and Technology Policy Fellow after finishing my PhD in the department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Stanford. In lab, I studied how neurons form connections with each other and allow for complex thought or simple motion. Now, I apply the problem solving skills I developed as a scientist on issues to resource conservation and environmental justice.
